Patient Rights at ViaMedica Medical Center
As a patient at ViaMedica Medical Center, you have the following rights:
- To be treated with consideration and respect;
- To be fully informed of all our services available to you;
- To be given whatever assistance you require to understand those services;
- To receive our services in either French or English;
- To participate in all decisions concerning your health and treatment;
- To accept or refuse care, tests or treatment;
- To have access to your file(s) with a written request;
- To be informed of any incident, accident or complication which is likely to have, or has had a significant impact on your state of health or personal integrity;
- To choose the professional whom you wish to provide those services;
At ViaMedica Medical Center, we have out in place a Complaint Procedure, copies of which are available at reception, should you feel the need to consult it.
